The Service is operated by New England App Makers LLC, doing business as Bhagavan AI ("BhagavanAI," "we," "us," or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Additional terms may apply to a specific feature, promotion, beta, or integration and will be presented when applicable.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly through our support options.
Age-gating and Family Guide requirements apply as described below and in our Privacy Policy. You may not misrepresent your age or identity to bypass those controls.
3. Description of the Service
Bhagavan.ai provides AI-powered spiritual, educational, meditation, scripture-discovery, family-guidance, and related features. The Service may use retrieval systems, knowledge graphs, self-hosted AI models, and, when configured for a feature, third-party services or AI providers.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Where practicable, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes that significantly affect your use of the Service.
4. Your Input and AI Output
"Input" means prompts, questions, instructions, files, preferences, feedback, profile information, and other content you submit to the Service. "Output" means content generated or returned by the Service in response to Input.
You retain the rights you hold in your Input. You grant BhagavanAI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, transmit, process, and use your Input only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and support the Service, comply with law, enforce these Terms, and carry out the choices you make in the Service. Our handling of personal data is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
As between you and BhagavanAI, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not claim ownership of rights you may have in Output generated specifically for you. AI-generated Output may not qualify for intellectual-property protection, and similar or identical Output may be generated for other users.
5. BhagavanAI Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, branding, design, original content, curated knowledge structures, prompts, evaluation systems, and other materials provided by BhagavanAI, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights in the Service are granted to you.
Scripture, translations, commentaries, images, and other third-party materials may be subject to separate copyrights, licenses, public-domain rules, or usage restrictions. A citation or display in the Service does not transfer ownership of third-party material to you or to BhagavanAI.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- impersonate another person or engage in fraud or deceptive conduct;
- harass, threaten, exploit, or intentionally endanger others;
- upload or distribute malware, malicious code, or harmful payloads;
- gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, models, infrastructure, data, or security controls;
- conduct unauthorized penetration testing, vulnerability exploitation, or attempts to bypass rate limits, safety controls, age gates, or access restrictions;
- interfere with the availability or integrity of the Service, including through abusive automated traffic;
- scrape, harvest, systematically extract, or reproduce the Service or its protected content except as expressly permitted by us or by law;
- use Output as a substitute for professional advice or emergency services where doing so could create a material risk of harm.
7. Community and Shared Content
If you choose to post or share content through community or other public features, you retain the rights you hold in that content and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and moderate those features.
We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the Service, respond to reports, comply with law, or address security and safety concerns. Community moderation is not guaranteed to detect every harmful or inappropriate item.
8. AI Guidance, Accuracy, and Independent Verification
Bhagavan.ai uses artificial intelligence, retrieval, and other automated systems to generate spiritual, educational, and family-practice guidance. Output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, non-unique, incorrectly attributed, or inappropriate for your circumstances.
You are responsible for evaluating Output before relying on it or sharing it with children or others. Independently verify important scripture quotations, translations, citations, historical claims, dates, ritual or practice instructions, and other material information using primary sources, qualified teachers, or other appropriate sources.
9. No Professional Advice
Bhagavan.ai does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, therapeutic, or other professional advice. The Service is not a substitute for a qualified professional, religious teacher, trusted caregiver, or other person appropriately qualified for your situation.
10. Crisis and Emergency Disclaimer
Bhagavan.ai is not an emergency-response or crisis-monitoring service. The Service may use automated safety systems to identify certain risk signals, but those systems can miss, misunderstand, or misclassify content and are not a substitute for human emergency services or professional crisis support. We do not guarantee real-time human monitoring of conversations.
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service right away rather than relying on Bhagavan.ai.
11. Sources, Citations, and Religious Interpretation
Bhagavan.ai may display scripture citations, source references, translations, summaries, and interpretive context to help you evaluate an answer. Citations and source references may be incomplete, outdated, incorrectly matched, or unavailable.
Hindu traditions and interpretations vary by lineage, sampradaya, region, language, teacher, family, and community. BhagavanAI does not represent that a generated interpretation is the sole, official, or universally accepted interpretation of a text, practice, deity, or tradition.
12. Family Guide and Children
Family Guide features are intended for use by parents and guardians in accordance with the age, consent, and account controls provided by the Service. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether an answer, story, practice, source, or other material is appropriate for a child in their care.
Children may not create independent accounts in the Family Guide launch path. Parent-managed child-profile features and parental-consent requirements are described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Voluntary Contributions
If you choose to make a voluntary contribution to support Bhagavan.ai, the contribution does not by itself purchase a subscription, digital product, service tier, or guaranteed feature unless we expressly state otherwise before payment. Contributions and payment questions are subject to our Refund Policy.
14. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party providers for functions such as authentication, hosting, infrastructure, payments, notifications, observability, external data, or optional AI processing. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for a third party's independent products or services, but our use of service providers to process personal data is addressed in our Privacy Policy.
15. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may use available account or privacy tools to request deletion where applicable. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a material violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, fraud, abuse, security risk, harm to users, or a legal requirement.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue. Following termination, provisions that by their nature should survive—including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and general contractual provisions—will continue to apply. Data retention after account closure is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE AND OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." BHAGAVANAI DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available, or that Output, citations, translations, retrieved materials, safety systems, or other content will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your needs. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BHAGAVANAI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
18. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback to develop, improve, secure, and support BhagavanAI without compensation to you. This section does not change how personal data contained in feedback is handled under the Privacy Policy.
19. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law. Continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
20. General Terms
These Terms, together with policies and additional terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and BhagavanAI concerning the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent, except where applicable law provides otherwise. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law, subject to applicable privacy and consumer-protection requirements. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
